Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. You'll play a key role in driving our product development, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Mentor junior developers, leading by example in terms of code quality and engineering best practices.

• Conduct thorough unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions, ensuring robustness and reliability.

• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols within the mobile landscape, especially regarding Android development.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

 

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Android development, with a solid understanding of the Android SDK. Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with Java.

• Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

• Knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

• Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, including automated testing and building.

• Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for performance tuning, usability, and end-to-end security.
